Mehuken wind farm

Mehuken wind farm was opened in 2001 with five wind turbines. During 2010 the wind farm has been extended with additional eight wind turbines. The new annual production of electricity is 65 GWh. The approximately 3,000 households in the Vågsøy municipality are now self-supported with electricity from the wind turbines at Mehuken.

Mehuken wind farm is owned by Kvalheim Kraft DA, a company in which Østfold Energi holds a 33% stake.
